Following the model of some North American academic institutions, we are offering similar educational course credit bank system with greater flexibility where a student could accumulate the courses taken at different authorized academic institutions to receive transfer credits for equivalent courses at Southern University to meet the minimum number of credits requirement to earn a college or university level degree. At times, a student may have to demonstrate knowledge and skills to through an exam or project assignment when the courses are not of the same nature and not readily transferrable.

One can earn a Diploma (20-30 credits), Associate Degree (60-70 credits) , Bachelor Degree (130-35 undergraduate level credits), and a Master Degree (35-65 credits) through credit accumulation. A student's academic standing will be determined after course by course transfer evaluation. Based on the credit transfer received, as student would have to complete the remaining courses geared toward a diploma or degree program either at Southern University or at any other universities. However, a student is required to successfully complete at least two courses at Southern University to qualify to earn a degree.
