            Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Honours)

► At least a second division or minimum GPA 2.50 out of 5.0 GPA in the S.S.C and H.S.C examinations or GPA 2.0 out of 4.0 GPA or five subjects in O-level and two major subjects in A-level or any of these equivalent educations are required for four years LL.B (Honours) admission into Southern University Bangladesh.
 General Education Requirements:
►All candidates for Bachelor Degree must earn a minimum of 24 credits hours of general education as a part of the total Bachelor degree requirement of 123 credit hours. One can also earn extra credit hours taking optional courses that are offered for selective students.
►Those general education credits must be earned from different academic areas shown below.
Social Sciences:

Bangladesh Studies,Sociology, History, Political Science, Psychology, International Relations.  

Sciences:

Health Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science.

 Humanities and English:

English, Philosophy, Foreign Language, Speech.

 Entrance Examination
►All incoming freshmen are required to take evaluation test. The results are helpful in counseling and placement.
 English Proficiency
►All new applicants to the program are required to present evidence of proficiency in English language prior to admission.
 Academic Load
►All students are permitted to carry 12 semesters hours. Outstanding academic result may consider for additional courses with permission of course instructor, program coordinator and registrar.

Features of the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Honours):

 ► Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) is a four years degree providing quality legal education at undergraduate level. Course work features practices as well as enable students to work effectively in legal environment. Minimum of 123 semester credit hours or 40 courses are required to fulfill the program.

  General Education             : 7 Courses x 3 Credits        =  21 Credit Hours 
  Core                                   : 32 Courses x 3 Credits      =  96 Credit Hours  
 Moot court & Mock Trial      : 1 Course x  6 Credits         =   6 Credit Hours
